This web
site is remarkable for a number of reasons least being the furious
pace at which it as evolved into its present state. A web site is not
only a huge undertaking technically but requires input from experts in
areas that one may not consider obvious such as legal counsel, user
interface designers, graphic designers, information consultants and
most importantly the end-user or target audience. Anybody who has
contributed or led the design of a modest manual or more demanding
brochure will appreciate the complexities of that undertaking. Well,
add to that the particular intricacies of hyper linking, book marking,
picture formats (dozens of these), page frames, database connectivity,
(ASP, Php, IIS, ADO, etc.) and one can have an inkling of the feat it
is to get to the end result.

Latest developments
I have begun designing an image database
and there are various ways to do this as I have discovered. In general
whilst there are some easy ways of doing this, it is by far always
worthwhile to understand the limitations of the 'easy option'.
